So… back from Vacation, already!!!

As a lot of you know my mom, my sister Amber and I went to St. Pete Beach in Tampa Florida for two weeks, July 14th through the 28th. We had a wonderful time! The weather was great for the most part. But of course, when it rains it only rains for about 15 minutes. :) We stayed at the Grand Plaza Resort. We loved the hotel room, but not so much the resort itself. We stayed at the Sirata which is next to the Grand Plaza two years ago, the rooms aren’t very nice but the resort part is awesome. Since we were going for two weeks, we knew we wanted a better room and we could just walk over to Sirata to use their pools and hot tubs. Our resort only had one pool and no hot tub unfortunately. On the better hand, Grand Plaza had FREE wireless internet access which worked perfect. We stayed on the fifth floor in room 508. We asked for an upgrade to beach view and received it for free! For two weeks all I had to do was, wake up, goto the pool, layout and tan, eat, drink, take pictures, socialize and relax. It was fullfilling. Now I’m back here in PA, where the sun hardly has been shining, working 6 days a week serving, picking up people’s shifts for them. BLAHHHH. So I’m getting pretty sick of the “real world” job. There’s so much more than I can be doing. I have a lot of talent, I just need to put it to use and I will. Eventually, i’ll be content with where my life is going, right now… not so much. I want better for myself. I’ve just been a really lazy person and I don’t know how to get out of it. It sucks. Anyways.. back to Florida. Some of the places we ate at include The Village Inn, Crabby Bills, Sila’s Steakhouse, Skidders and Frenchy’s. We went shopping at Publix a lot and bought food for the room. It gets expensive eating out! At night Amber and I would take flashlights down to the gulf and look in water. We found sting rays, many of them… crabs and saw huge fish in the water. I’m not going to lie, the shuffle your feet warning signs and seeing them in 3 inches of water freaked me out. While we were down there, a girl very close to the area was bit by a shark. F THAT! I really didn’t go in the gulf at all. One time on a tube the second day I was there. That was enough for me. I collected a bunch of sea shells while on the beach, like I always do. We met some young people that we hung out with for a couple nights while there. Amber’s birthday was a shitshow down there. We got extremely drunk and I woke up on a hammock on the beach the next morning. I’d have to say that was pretty awesome. The flights were pretty okay… we had connecting flights to and from. From Pittsburgh to Philadelphia to Tampa, then on the way back Tampa to Charlotte to Pittsburgh. We got delayed at Charlotte, bad storms. It sucked pretty bad cause at that point I just wanted to be home! Overall we had a great time and I can’t wait to go on another vacation. Probably for my 21st coming up in December! WOOO! :) Can’t wait.

New Project Released! BestiPhonegoodies.com!

So finally I’m getting into the swing of things. Tonight after work, I took on BestiPhoneGoodies.com and hooked it up with a layout and added some new Ed Hardy iPhone wallpapers! I also already have some Chanel ones up too. I’m hoping BestiPhoneGoodies can possibly become my “next big thing” since I’m not personally into my myspace sites anymore, don’t get me wrong, I’ll still keep them up and update here and there, but I love customizing my iPhone and everyone always loves my work. I have big plans for the site, but with big plans takes BIG motivation, something I’m striving to work towards… since I work a real job now as a server, which don’t get me wrong I LOVE doing, the internet comes second to me. Some plans for the site include: theme downloads, tons of wallpaper categories, tutorials, apps that I think are cool… this will require a bunch of time but hopefully will pay off since people are always asking me how to do stuff, such as jailbreaking the iphone for the ability to have: custom themes, cool sms bubbles, different phone fonts, clear icons, cool apps and much more! The other day/night Amber my mom and I all went out dinner, after that my mom needed to go to Walmart. We went back into the electronic’s section and they now sell iPhone’s! I was excited. I’ve needed a new iPhone for months now! The pixels at the top of mine were broken & It’s been really annoying, not to mention I’d have to hit the home button hard and a million times for the screen to come on. So my mom knew I wanted one really bad and my mom’s known the problems I’ve been having with my old one. I tried calling Apple to have them fix it, but the sucky part about iPhone’s are that they only come with a one year warranty, you have to buy extended Apple care protection to extend the warranty longer. Well, Amber and my mom are on the same Sprint family plan. They are pretty sick of Sprint and their plans are up, so I told them I’d let them get on my plan, considering it’s going to save us all money. I went with the white 16g iPhone and my mom decided to buy it for me for easter! The total checking out was about $312 with taxes. But the iPhone is worth every penny. No other phone even compares to me. The only thing I miss sometimes is a keyboard, but other than that the iPhone is always changing and getting better. You can do everything on it! Amber got an iPhone too but she decided on the black one. My mom also bought me a hello kitty easter basket that came with two fill-able eggs from Kohl’s and a hello kitty marshmallow pop! You all know I LOVE hello kitty. :) Thanks mom! Best easter present ever!!!

So this year we already have our vacation booked! We booked on expedia.com, they seemed to be much cheaper than priceline.com which we used last year. We are going to St. Pete Beach in Tampa Florida! We were there 2 years ago and stayed at the Sirata Beach Resort. This year we decided to stay somewhere new, so we booked Grand Plaza Beach Resort. Last year at our hotel you had to pay $10 a day for internet service. At Grand Plaza they have complimentary internet access which is going to be nice to have. Sirata and Grand Plaza are right next to eachother, so we plan on walking over to Sirata and spending most of our “Pool time” there since they have 3 pools and a hot tub since the hotel we are staying at only has one. The rooms look much nicer than Sirata’s as well. Bigger and brighter. We need a better room this year since we are staying there for more than one week and Sirata’s weren’t that great, even though most of the time we spend outside of the room. I’m really excited and I can’t wait to go and get out of Pittsburgh for awhile, though I’ll miss my besties. :)

NEW Mac Hello Kitty, Kitty Kouture Dazzleglass Lipgloss!

So today I woke up to a nice surprise at my door! My good online friend Deandrea sent me a gift! It made my day! She knows I love hello kitty and we both LOVE bright pink lipsticks and lip glosses, so she sent me a mac dazzleglass lipgloss from the wonderful new mac hello kitty line! I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEEEE IT! It’s the Kitty Kouture one. I love the color, it’s so me. It’s a $28 dollar lip gloss, so I better love it! LoL. The hello kitty pendant is outlined in Swarovski crystals! I left the plastic on so it keeps nice, especially since it’ll probably be in my purse most of the time. I might decide to take it off too, since it is removable. :) It’s just too cute, it makes the gloss!

A fun game I play when bored…

I’ve always loved word games. One that I’ve recently became addicted to and that I have got some of my friends addicted to is Acrobabble!

What is Acrobabble?
It all started in the mid 90’s with an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) game run by a bot called “Acrobot.” The idea was simple: Players are presented with an acronym between 3 and 7 letters long and their task is to concoct the funniest, whackiest, witiest acronym expansion in the alloted time. Players then get to vote on the best entry and points are awarded based on the entries.

A few years later, a downloadable PC version of the game called Acrophobia was released by Bezerk (Berkeley Systems). Never before had such mindless creativity generated so much entertainment and fun! The game caught on quickly with its innovative use of graphics and voice prompts and in-game advertisements, creating a T.V. show like effect. The game exploded in popularity and people started to become addicted to Acrophobia. However, shortly after the Internet bubble burst, the game was taken down.

Acrobabble is a reincarnation of the game with its own twists and tweaks. The game is Flash based, which means it can run on any browser and on any operating system that supports Flash. It also means that the user interface is interactive and fluid. The goal of acrobabble is to present a fully functional, immersive acronym game experience including music effects and voice prompts. If you have any suggestions to improve the game, please do post it in our forums.

Acrobabble also consists of a leaderboard, which I’m currently ranked #39. It keeps track of how many games you play, win, votes and points. If you have really good ones that get a lot of votes, they go into what’s called the hall of humor. Acrobabble now even has a twitter account that posts funny acros.

I used to play Acrophobia back in the 90’s, before it was taken down. I’ve always loved the game. Acrobabble is a great replacement and is only getting better and better. So a lot of people compliment/ ask about my pictures all the time, ” like OMG, your pic is so cool, how do you edit it, or where do you edit it” !? Well, you’re in luck. Here’s my answer! :) There’s this really awesome website Picnik.com, that a lot of my friends and I know about. It is EXTREMELY easy to use and to edit photos!

What is Picnik? What can you do with Picnik? Here’s a screenshot from the site :)

Picnik is so awesome to use they even have a “Premium Package” with extended features. I myself do not have it, because I know how to do a lot of stuff on my own using Photoshop and don’t feel I would use it enough. The free version is useful enough for me. Here’s a little more information on that.

Basically all you do it upload your picture, edit, then create. Here’s some screenshots. :)

Here you will edit the picture such as: brightness/contrast, exposure, sharpening.

Here you will add text, borders, shapes and effects. Then when you finished, select save and share!

& there you go! you now have photo editing skills like that! Easy & Addicting! :)

So I decided to write a little something today. It’s Friday the 13th, oooh scary right? haha, that’s still not stopping me from going out tonight. ;) Anyways, just to mention a few things… I updated BestMyspaceGoodies.com with some cute Saint Patrick’s Day Graphics. I made a twitter account for Best Myspace Goodies too, so follow it for updates! Also, I can’t figure out why this blog only shows one post at a time, I’m either going to work on fixing that, or change the layout cause I’m not too pleased with it. I have a new project I’m working on, it’s for cell phones, I’ll be providing backgrounds and themes and such. Exciting right?

Tomorrow is Pittsburgh’s St Patty’s day parade! I’m excited for that, start’s at 10 AM, always a crazy time! :) plus I’m Irish. IRISH I were DrUnK! :)
